When Terri Guarnieri, producer of The Cosby Show, decided to marry, she called upon Cristina Verger’s expertise in event design and wedding planning to design and plan her 'surprise wedding'.

The wedding was a total secret.  Guests were invited to a “Glamorous Formal Evening” to celebrate Terri’s ”50^th”  Birthday.  To design the look Terri envisioned, Cristina used an abundance of fresh seasonal cream, apricot, leonitas and gold roses as well as hydrangea in the dining room while the dance room was decorated with white tree branches, adorned with masses of white dendrobium orchids.  To design the wedding dress, Cristina called upon her couture designer.  A flowing overlay of antique Alancon lace was re-embroidered by hand with seed pearls and Austrian crystals, and finished with a layering of hand beaded appliqués.  This amazing overlay draped the off the shoulder fitted bodice A-line gown for which imported French Chantung silk was used.  Gloves and shoes were adorned, by hand, with appliqués of seed pearls and Austrian crystals.  The tiny silk flowers designed for Terri’s hair completed the look.  WOW!For the musical entertainment a fantastic trio and vocalist were selected for the cocktail reception while during dinner a full band played music from the Golden Age of Hollywood in the background and “Nessun Dorma” was sung to everyone’s amazement.  After dinner, dancing began to the sound of the fabulous DJ who played sounds of the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s to a full dance floor till dawn.

Terri’s desires were totally fulfilled; the magical evening had been created! The memory lingers on…..
